Recently, news broke that a fan-favorite Marvel Comics character will finally get a project of his own: NovaReports suggest that something is in the pipeline, but whether it’s a movie or a Disney+ series is still up in the air. The bigger question, however, is which Nova will Marvel Studios launch first? The original Richard Rider started in 1976, followed by Sam Alexander, a younger version of the character that came out separately in 2011.

Obviously when it comes to Rider, he has a richer history and a bigger fan base; something that definitely helped while he was alive.he is even annihilate Events, so that he gained immeasurable cosmic power. The legendary storyline forces the Knights to be the sole protector of all Xandarian power and culture thanks to the destruction of all other members of the Nova Corps (basically the Space Police).

Thanks to Cosmic Circus, a potential ending to the upcoming MCU Nova Project has been revealed.

To the delight of many fans, Marvel Studios appears to be aiming to utilize both iterations of the Nova (Richard Rider and Sam Alexander) at the same time. The site compares the potential situation to that of Insomniac spiderman A franchise on PS4/PS5 where Miles and Peter are active at the same time. As such, Rider has been established as Nova, while Sam Alexander has also been brought in to take over the mantle.

While the details of what will happen with the entire project are unclear, Cosmic Circus mentions that both rising stars will remain active at the end of the movie or series. Neither will be replaced by the other.

Richard Rider will mostly stay in space and deal with larger cosmic events and conflicts, while Sam Alexander will stay on Earth, focusing on more street threats and possibly interacting with other young heroes. There are no details on how long Rider has been around, or if their intentions for Sam have anything to do with all the young heroes being introduced to the MCU.

It’s important to reiterate that these are still strictly rumors. While the site mentions that the details have stayed the same for the past year or two, by the time it finally hits production, many things could change.

Two rising stars are better than one

Adapting them would be a big move for Marvel Studios, and unlikely to upset fans of either (or both) iterations. Even better, if the rumors are correct, here’s how the two will continue to be active throughout the MCU.

Ironically, the two of them don’t actually interact much in the comics, and their origins are very different. There is only one issue of the comic in which the two spend considerable time together; the rest are minor appearances here and there. Still, exploring their dynamics can be really fun and becomes more rewarding than ever in written material.

It would be great to have another big universe player on the board. Rider is currently a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. in the comics, so there’s a good chance fans will see him as part of that team in future MCU projects — or whatever might end up being active in time.

As for Sam, it would be a brilliant path to blend him with the young heroes of Earth. He’s also likely to get a spot in the Young Avengers, whichever form it takes, as long as the team sticks together.

Sadly, fans still have a long way to go to see Nova The project bears fruit. Hopefully, when it arrives, it’s worth the long wait to see these two translated to global screens.
